Carrie Kennersly, veterinary technician and owner of the Barkery and Biscuits and Icing on the Cake bake shops, feels sorry for her brother Neal’s latest romantic interest, Janelle Blaystone. Her beloved dog Go was recently dognapped before Janelle came to town. But Go shows up in Knobcone Heights.

Janelle confronts wealthy local Ada Arnist, claiming she’s the dognapping culprit. Soon after, Ada is murdered. Did Janelle do it? Did Neal?
