At last, the reason behind the Tooth Fairy’s visits to children is revealed in The Tooth Fairy Legend: The Touch of Kindness. Never before has this timeless myth of childhood been so clearly defined in story and song. Learn why the teeth collected by the Tooth Fairy are taken to the Isle of Kindness, and why the Tooth Fairy’s job is much more vital than anyone imagined.

This double CD set includes the narrated story and fully orchestrated songs sung by a cast that includes children of all ages. The Tooth Fairy Legend: The Touch of Kindness is a wondrous tale that will thrill the imagination of every child who has ever awaited, or ever will await, the visit of the Tooth Fairy!

The Tooth Fairy Legend: The Touch of Kindness is an important book for children for many reasons:

  • Families can enjoy the excitement of a fantasy-adventure story that does not resort to violence to entertain.
  • The “chapter book” concept allows for a daily story time that children can eagerly anticipate.
  • The Tooth Fairy Legend: The Touch of Kindness reinforces many important values: kindness to others, respect for all people, forgiveness, acceptance of others’ differences, responsibility, giving versus selfishness, the power of love and affection, helping and friendship, honesty, and having an important role within society.

If you feel these elements are important and would like to see them reinforced through a young child’s reading, this audiobook should be a part of your family library.

John Arthur Long

John Arthur Long is the author of novels, crime fiction, and children’s books. He has been active in theater, having directed many dramas and musicals, and coauthored the musical Conspiracy. He is also an award-winning audiobook narrator and voiceover professional.

Chet Meyer

Chet Meyer has written and edited films, public service announcements, and a consumer magazine, but his special love is the short story. He has taught secondary level English literature and language, creative writing, and film studies. Meyer’s solo and collaborative writings are quite diverse: The Tooth Fairy Legend: The Touch of Kindness is a children’s read-along-and-listen chapter book, Conspiracy is a musical spoof of the Chicago Seven trial, Entwined is a screenplay about the lives of Chang and Eng, the original Siamese twins; The Sand Table Scorpion is a humorous Vietnam War–era romp through the jungles of combat and bureaucracy by a comic-book-style superhero; and The Final Performance of “The Mobled Queen” is a two-act play set in the home of a college professor and based on the siege and fall of Troy.
